We're proud to offer this option for those wanting or needing a bit more of a challenge. The majestic Te Ara Hura walkway was completed in 2015 and offers a (nearly) 100km loop of Waiheke. This package will appeal those who enjoy a really good challenge on their walks, but look forward to bit of comfort at the end of the day.

The Te Ara Hura can be completed in 4 or 5 days by most walkers. The trail follows a mix of spectacular beach walks, coastal headland paths, and hiking through rural farms and wonderful NZ native bush, linked together with footpaths and quiet back roads. The 5 day version includes a little more on road, but don’t worry, there isn’t much traffic, and even the roads are beautiful!
